Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in arts/design/HCI/psychology or related field.
• Strong aesthetic sense and solid design fundamentals.
• Proficient in AE, C4D, Photoshop and post‑production tools; demonstrated animation and effect design abilities.
• Awareness of industry trends, AI advancements, and motion design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead effect concepts and design for TikTok’s short‑video and live streaming products, including dynamic typography, transitions, on‑screen effects, filters, beautification, and retouching.
• Co‑create solutions with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams—translate concepts into feasible designs and drive through development, testing, and launch.
• Identify emerging short‑video trends and visual styles; participate in brainstorming and drive high‑quality proposals to execution.
• Monitor user feedback and performance data; iterate on effects based on user needs and market shifts.
• Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to define and explore new effect features and optimize toolchains.
