Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs seeks a Graduate Design Engineer to join our Mining Mechanical team. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 2–5 years of progressive design experience in commercial or industrial mechanical systems.

You will contribute to layout of ductwork, piping, and industrial systems in 3D environments, with proficiency in Plant 3D and SolidWorks. Strong communication and technical writing abilities are essential for team meetings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 2–5 years of progressive experience designing commercial and/or industrial mechanical systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication; write specifications and reports and participate in project meetings.
• Experience with layout of ductwork and piping systems in a 3D environment.
• Layout of industrial systems such as process piping and ductwork.
• Experience with mechanical design.
• Familiarity with process flow diagrams, process piping diagrams, and/or piping & instrumentation diagrams.
• Experience with Plant 3D and SolidWorks.
