Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking new college graduates to develop and optimize semiconductor devices and processes for characterization and technology development. You will apply device physics, process integration, and analytical modeling to improve performance and manufacturability while collaborating across functional teams.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to publications and conferences, and engage with suppliers and partners to advance technical roadmaps in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or related field with GPA ≥3.0.
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal).
  • Travel up to 10% as part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, optimization, and implementation of advanced device engineering methodologies and solutions.
  • Solve complex technical challenges and drive improvements to device technologies and practices.
  • Plan, execute, and support device development projects, including large-scale initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, integrate, and introduce new technologies and process enhancements.
  • Mentor and guide engineers and project teams to share knowledge and build capabilities.
  • Contribute to technical publications, conference presentations, and patents.
  • Engage with suppliers and research partners to evaluate emerging technologies and support roadmaps.
  • Support technical reviews and project activities ensuring alignment with business and quality objectives.
