Job summary

Apex Engineering Group is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join the Fargo, ND area project team. You will contribute to the planning, design, and construction phases of water and wastewater projects, and may act as the resident project representative in the field.

You will work under a project manager or senior engineer, interfacing with clients and internal teams. Travel and occasional overtime are expected as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; Master's degree is a plus.
• EI certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• 5+ years of experience in civil/environmental engineering, water or wastewater.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering services: planning, design, specs, plans, reports, construction observation and PM.
• Communicate updates regularly with supervisors and project managers.
• Attend meetings with clients; participate in business development as experience grows.
• Serve as resident project representative in the field during construction as needed.
• Work with team on project plans, specs, and adherence to CADD procedures.
