Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer to join our Water Resources team. You will support a licensed Civil Engineer, learn design software, and contribute to plans and specifications.

This role emphasizes developing technical skills, QA/QC, and coordination with agency staff while pursuing a Professional Engineering license. Strong organization and collaboration are required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or equivalent, with eligibility to obtain within 6–12 months.
Engineer-in-Training certification, or eligibility within 6–12 months.
Willingness to learn and apply design software and QA/QC procedures.

Responsabilités

Assist project team in design of public infrastructure.
Provide technical, day-to-day design support to the Project Engineer.
Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and utility evaluations.
Prepare drawings and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, Open Roads, and other software.
Follow QA/QC procedures and engineering standards.
Coordinate with agency staff and internal teams on designs and issues.
Learn fundamentals of engineering processes and apply them.
Observe construction activities to understand methods and translation to built products.
Develop calculations in Excel and prepare reports and letters.
