Job summary

Egis is seeking a Graduate Engineer – Roads and Civil to join our Design team in Amman, Jordan. You will work with experienced engineers on road and civil infrastructure projects, contributing to planning and technical delivery from conception to completion.

Responsibilities include assisting design, drawing preparation, data analysis, and collaboration across disciplines to develop innovative engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles for roads and transportation.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and design documentation.
• Desirable BIM experience and related software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of road and civil infrastructure projects using industry-standard software.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and design documentation to relevant standards.
• Conduct site surveys and data analysis to support design development.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Review and quality-assure outputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to the preparation of design reports and client presentations.
• Maintain organised project records and adhere to deadlines.
• Stay updated on emerging design methodologies and technologies.
