Job summary

Egis BLN USA Inc. (Egis U.S.) is expanding its North American team with opportunities for engineers and interns in civil transportation design. You will assist engineers on transportation projects, perform 3D modeling, and help develop specifications and cost estimates.

The role emphasizes coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, documentation, and timely delivery while gaining access to world-class experts and growth opportunities across a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related BS by spring 2027.
  • Design experience is a plus.
  • EIT or Engineering Intern certification or plans to obtain before graduation.
  • OpenRoads Designer experience and Traffic Design experience are pluses.
  • Familiarity with Synchro and Highway Capacity Software is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with plans production and design tasks under the direction of an engineer for transportation projects.
  • 3D modeling from preliminary to final design.
  • Assist in development of specifications, reports, and cost estimates; data sensitive.
  • Coordinate with project staff and sub-consultants to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Deliver project tasks on time and on budget.
  • Learn and utilize typical design software packages.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with plans production and design tasks under the direction of an engineer for transportation projects
  • 3D modeling from preliminary to final design.
  • Assist in the development of specifications, reports, and cost estimates. Data sensitivity - Internal
  • Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, departments, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Deliver project tasks on time and on budget.
  • Learn and utilize typical design software packages.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering BS by spring of 2027.
  • Design experience a plus.
  • EIT or Engineering Intern certification or plans to obtain prior to graduation
  • Experience in OpenRoads Designer a plus. Experience in Traffic Design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Synchro and Highway Capacity Software is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future.
