The role focuses on AutoCAD Civil3D proficiency and collaborative problem solving to meet project budgets and deadlines. The ideal candidate holds a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree (or pending) and an Engineer-in-Training certificate, with strong communication and teamwork abilities to succeed in a dynamic engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
Engineer-in-Training certificate or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D software.

Responsibilities

Prepare exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D.
Coordinate with agency staff and internal support teams on designs and issues.
Prepare entitlement documents for Tentative Maps, Vacations, Zone Changes, Entitlements, etc.
Calculate quantities using Excel and draft justification letters in Word.
Assist with construction drawings including grading plans, storm drainage, and utilities.
