Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support a licensed Civil Engineer while learning standard practices and local agency codes. A large portion of time will be devoted to mastering AutoCAD Civil3D.

The candidate should be organized, self-motivated, and able to collaboratively solve complex issues on time and within budget while pursuing a Professional Engineering license.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Engineer-in-Training certificate or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Coordinate with agency staff and internal teams on designs, analyses, and issues.
• Prepare entitlement documents for Tentative Maps, Vacations, Zone Changes, Entitlements, etc.
