OHM Advisors in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our collaborative team. You’ll gain exposure to civil engineering projects, support planning and design, and work with senior staff to deliver people-centered solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in a related field and has experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D/MicroStation and Revit, with internships or EIT encouraged. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, ArcGIS, or similar software.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data collection and analysis to support project development.
• Perform design calculations and investigative analyses to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist in preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents.
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) to develop design drawings.
• Review project plans and documentation for technical accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Help schedule and coordinate tasks to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in design reviews.
• Maintain organized project files and design documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
