Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 2–5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience with site development, grading, drainage, underground utilities, and roadway design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surface modeling, grading, alignments, profiles, and utility design.
• Working knowledge of applicable civil engineering codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
• Experience preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction packages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, analyze, and execute civil projects for industrial facilities.
• Develop deliverables for site development, grading, drainage, utilities and roadways.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for safe, efficient, cost-effective solutions.
• Support project managers through all phases, ensuring code and client standards compliance.

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, analysis, and execution of civil engineering projects supporting industrial facilities in the energy, chemical, and manufacturing sectors. This role will develop engineering deliverables for site development, grading, drainage, underground utilities, roadways, and related infrastructure while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions. The projects they support are small and fast paced, and this person must be comfortable handling multiple projects with different end clients at the same time. The Civil Engineer will support project managers throughout all phases of engineering and construction, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, client specifications, and company quality standards.
