Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Houston, TX office. You will plan, design, analyze, and execute civil projects supporting industrial facilities in energy, chemical, and manufacturing sectors.

Develop deliverables for site development, grading, drainage, underground utilities, roadways, and related infrastructure while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), 2–5 years of experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
2–5 years of civil engineering experience.
Experience with site development, grading, drainage, underground utilities, and roadway design.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surface modeling, grading, alignments, profiles, and utility design.
Working knowledge of applicable civil engineering codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
Experience preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction packages.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, analyze, and execute civil projects for industrial facilities.
Develop deliverables for site development, grading, drainage, utilities and roadways.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for safe, efficient, cost-effective solutions.
Support project managers through all phases, ensuring code and client standards compliance.
Manage multiple projects for different end clients concurrently.
