The Graduate Assistant Coach is responsible for working alongside the Head Coach to manage the women’s soccer program and the student‑athletes in the best interest of Doane University and in accordance with all the rules of the NAIA and the GPAC Conference.

Salary

An annual $6,750 stipend is provided, reduced to $5,000 if you live on campus, which includes a single bedroom in Frees Hall and a commuter meal plan of five meals per week plus $200 Doane Dollars per semester.

• The ability to diligently and effectively recruit and retain student‑athletes.
• Ability to teach and develop student‑athletes.
• Character Requirements:
  • Proven record of integrity, high principles, and demonstrated skill in developing and motivating student‑athletes academically and athletically.
  • Must recognize that they are always a representative of the program and must consistently demonstrate positive coaching behavior.
• Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Required Licenses/Certifications

Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the college’s automobile insurance provider and ability to obtain certification to drive a Doane full‑size minivan once hired.
