Coastal Carolina University is seeking a Graduate Assistant (GA) for Student Organization Financial Development & Entrepreneurship. The 20-hour-per-week role supports the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership by creating educational initiatives to improve financial sustainability and entrepreneurial thinking among student organizations.

Qualifications

Must be an active CCU student.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Acceptance into or current enrollment in 6-9 credit hours in a graduate program at Coastal Carolina University.

Responsibilities

Develop programs and educational resources that teach student organizations how to create sustainable funding models beyond traditional university allocations.
Lead the planning and implementation of an online marketplace that allows registered student organizations to sell approved merchandise and products.
Develop educational programming that strengthens financial management skills among organization officers.
Develop educational materials that help student leaders understand legal and financial responsibilities associated with fundraising and business activities.
