Job summary

Coastal Carolina University is seeking an Education Abroad Graduate Assistant for the Center for Global Engagement. The GA will educate students about study abroad opportunities, including faculty-led programs, semester and summer options.

The role requires active CCU student status, duties in advising and mentoring, and occasional weekend/evening hours. Training and support are provided to manage applications and communications.

Qualifications

• Must be an active CCU student.
• Some customer service experience and ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Educate students about study abroad opportunities (faculty-led, semester, and summer programs).
• Advise students on application processes, deadlines, GPA requirements, and financial information.
• Represent the CGE at tabling events and study abroad expos; host Study Abroad 101 sessions.
• Assist with coordinating and managing the application process and creating digital/written materials.
• Assist with responding to shared study abroad email; may require weekend/evening hours.
