Job Description And Position Requirements
The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking to hire a part-time Graduate Assistant Researcher in Materials Science and Engineering.
Job duties to include:
- assist in the development of two-dimensional materials for applications in quantum photonics and sensing
- synthesizing two-dimensional materials
- characterizing their structural and optical properties
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
- Interest and training in chemical vapor deposition
- Materials characterization techniques including atomic force microscopy and Raman/photoluminescence spectroscopy
- 40 hours per week
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $25.65/hour
