About CamP Group

CamP Group gGmbH is a German non-profit organization. We see ourselves as a think-and-do-tank whose goal is to solve social problems through in-depth research and best practices. The business unit "think-tank" researches new approaches and shapes policy through development policy work, consulting, and evaluation services. As a "do-tank," we conceive, realize, and develop projects in participation, gender equality, and engagement, contributing to social problem solutions.

We are seeking a Research Assistant and Virtual Conference Organizer for our international project “Girls in the Lead – A network for women empowerment in sports”.

In 2019, we initiated Girls in the Lead, an international network of gender practitioners aiming to encourage change for more gender equity in the sport for development sector. Our founding partners include sports for development organizations focused on gender equity based in India (CRHP & Naz Foundation), USA (Girls on the Run), Germany (Seitenwechsel e.V.), Kenya (Moving the Goalposts), and South Africa (Boxgirls South Africa). We have developed a co-created digital platform where girls’ and women’s empowerment organizations in sport for development can get support on capacity building, program design, impact assessment, and advocacy.

Your tasks

  1. Assist the CEO with research and seminar and white paper preparation
  2. Write project reports and document project activities
  3. Coordinate international digital conferences for Girls in the Lead network members
  4. Support online communication via the Girls in the Lead website and social media channels
  5. Write blogs and articles on gender and sports topics
  6. Coordinate uploading new content and information updates on the website

Your profile

  1. Entrepreneurial and innovative spirit
  2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sports for Development, Gender Studies, or related fields
  3. Bilingual in German and English
  4. Detail-oriented
  5. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
  6. Strong online writing skills
  7. Knowledge of WordPress
  8. Experience in marketing and project coordination
  9. Experience in remote work and virtual conferences

You will be provided with all necessary tools (printer access, laptop, software for international calls, design, project management) and have the opportunity to network with other women leaders, supported by the CEO. This role is remote and independent.
