Job summary

Ramapo College of New Jersey is seeking a Graduate Assistant to support the Office of Grants & Sponsored Programs (OGSP) and IRB operations. The role provides hands-on experience in research administration, compliance, and proposal development while supporting faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities include coordinating proposal development, assisting with IRB submissions, and maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a graduate program at Ramapo College or another college/university for a minimum of six (6) credit hours per semester or two courses per semester, whichever is greater, during the academic year.
• Proof of course enrollment and good academic standing each semester.
• Active and satisfactory academic progress towards completion of a graduate degree with transcript provided to HR at end of each semester.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposal development timelines and internal submission deadlines.
• Collect institutional data, supporting documentation, and letters of support for grants.
• Prepare grant development resources, templates, checklists, and guidance documents.
• Ensure compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements.
• Assist in coordinating IRB communications and student submissions.
