Job summary

MVSU International is seeking a Graduate Assistant to assist the Delta THRIVE project evaluation team. The role involves conducting research and providing administrative support under the supervision of the Data and Evaluation Specialist.

Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program, maintain at least six graduate credits per semester, and keep a minimum GPA of 3.0. Basic research and data collection skills are required.

Job description

Graduate Assistant will work with the Delta THRIVE project evaluation team to perform research and administrative support duties under the direct supervision of the Data and Evaluation Specialist. A graduate assistant is expected to carry out the assigned duties and responsibilities in a thorough, timely, and professional manner.

Required Qualifications

• (1) Must be enrolled in a graduate program
• (2) Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours of graduate coursework toward a degree each semester
• (3) Must be in good standing academically. Must maintain at least a “B” average (G.P.A. = 3:00) – the minimum required of all graduate students.
• (4) Must have basic research, data collection and analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of computing software skills is an added advantage.
