Job summary

Solidigm in California is seeking motivated interns to design, develop, test, and maintain software tools that support engineering workflows for SSD and storage technologies.

You will contribute to firmware features, embedded software, and AI-assisted validation tasks while applying ML concepts to improve productivity. Work will span cross-functional teams in a hands-on internship environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master's or PhD in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with Python, C, C++, or Java.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools or infrastructure that support engineering workflows and product development.
• Contribute to firmware features, embedded software, test environments, or debug workflows for SSD and storage-related technologies.
• Apply machine learning, data analysis, or AI techniques to improve engineering productivity or validation efficiency.
• Explore or implement AI-assisted tools and workflows that help automate engineering tasks.
• Build automation frameworks and scripts to improve firmware testing and regression execution.
• Support validation of software or firmware functionality; analyze failures and assist with root-cause analysis.
• Analyze test results, logs, and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional firmware, software, validation, and hardware teams; document tools and debug findings.
