Job summary

UC Irvine's Graduate Studies & Support Office seeks a Graduate Affairs Advisor to provide the full range of graduate student services and program administration, from admissions advisement to employment processing.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Graduate Affairs, you will collaborate with faculty and campus partners to address complex student issues, interpret policies, manage payroll tasks via UCPath, and support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• 3-5 years progressively responsible experience in graduate affairs, student services, academic administration, or higher education administration; direct UCPath and/or payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full range of graduate student services and program administration.
• Interpret and apply complex policies, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
• Collaborate with faculty, Graduate Program Directors, and campus partners to address complex student issues and improvements to services.
