Job summary

Brandeis University is seeking an Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions to lead recruitment efforts, drive inquiries to applications, and support enrollment goals. The role involves extensive outbound outreach via phone, text, email and social platforms, and coordinating both virtual and in-person events worldwide.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Graduate Admissions, you will read applications, advise on admissibility, and craft compelling communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of related experience in admissions or recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Converts inquiries to applicants and ultimately enrolled students through proactive and responsive consultative sales outreach via phone, email, and/or digital platforms.
• Schedules and conducts candidate interviews and/or appointments and uses a consultative sales approach during these sessions to understand candidate’s decision‑making factors.
• Promotes Brandeis University and conducts on and off campus presentations via in‑house admissions events and recruitment travel as needed.
• Reads applications for admission and makes informed recommendations on admissibility.
• Drafts compelling emails with clear action-items that can be leveraged as slate templates and/or ad hoc recruitment emails.
