Kentucky Public Pensions Authority (KPPA) is currently seeking a Graduate Accountant II in the Division ofAccounting and Cash Management. Located in Frankfort, Kentucky, KPPA is responsible for the investment of fundsand administration of pension and health insurance benefits for nearly 444,000 state and local governmentemployees, state police officers, and nonteaching staff of local school boards and regional universities.Daily system activities, including administrative support, investment management, benefits counseling,accounting and payroll functions, and legal services, are performed by a staff of professional employeesworking as the KPPA. KPPA covers three separate systems: Kentucky Employees Retirement Systems (KERS), CountyEmployees Retirement System (CERS), and the State Police Retirement System (SPRS).
This position performs complex accounting duties such as developing and, or, modifying accounting systems forKPPA including multiple account reconciliations with custodial and depository banks; and performs other dutiesas required.

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree (which includes twenty semester hours or thirty quarter hours in accounting).
One year of professional accounting experience.
