Job summary

Sunrock is seeking a Project Superintendent-Grading to manage multiple grading construction projects in North Carolina. The role coordinates labor, equipment, subcontractors, and material suppliers while supervising and developing staff on assigned projects.

The ideal candidate has five or more years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid North Carolina driver's license. Storm water and traffic control certifications are preferred and safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• Five or more years of related experience required.
• Current North Carolina Driver’s License required; storm water and traffic control certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures by direct reports.
• Lead, train, and supervise project staff across grading operations.
• Schedule and coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
• Track materials and report progress to stakeholders.
• Inspect work for quality and safety; enforce company safety standards.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams; maintain open communication.
• Provide leadership and development for employees; conduct reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
