Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction and grading experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read plans and understand elevations and grading requirements.
• Heavy-equipment operating and coordination experience.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented approach.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Equipment-safety certification or training required.
• Competent Person qualification required.
• Previous pipe-work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise grading crews, including equipment operators, laborers, and other field personnel.
• Operate and oversee heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, motor graders, loaders, rollers/compactors, skid steers, and haul trucks.
• Read blueprints, grading plans, elevations, and grade stakes.
• Coordinate daily site activities to maintain production schedules.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.
• Work closely with the superintendent, project manager, survey crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
