Job summary

Branch is seeking a dependable Grading Foreman for its Civil Division to coordinate grading operations and supervise on-site crews. The Foreman acts as the liaison between workers and supervisors, overseeing project completion while tracking materials, permits, and safety.

The role requires extensive highway construction experience, GPS proficiency, and hands-on supervision with strong communication and decision-making skills. Full-time on-site work with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of applicable standards, specs, codes, regulations and laws.
• 5+ years’ experience with highway construction.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Grading Foreman.
• Experience with GPS.
• Must have valid driver’s license and Branch Fleet policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grading crew and coordinate with Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Plan and schedule daily grading activities and ensure plan execution to meet goals.
• Ensure storage and maintenance of materials and equipment.
• Monitor safety, conduct safety meetings, and enforce safety programs.
