Job summary

LeoTerra Siteworks is seeking an Equipment Operator Grading in Kernersville, NC. This role operates heavy equipment to perform rough and fine grading for site development, establishing proper grade from plans and maintaining safety on a fast-paced construction site.

The ideal candidate has grading experience, can read blueprints and grade stakes, and is familiar with GPS machine control systems. CDL is a plus but not required; reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of grading experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand grade stakes and site plans.
• Experience with GPS machine control systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers and compactors.
• Perform rough and fine grading for building pads, roadways and site development.
• Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes and site plans.
• Establish and maintain proper elevations and slopes.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Work closely with foreman, surveyors and crew members.
• Maintain safe job site operations and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with other site work as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator Grading to join our team This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment to perform rough and fine grading for site development projects The ideal candidate has experience establishing proper grade working from plans and operating safely and efficiently in a fast paced construction environment

Key Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as dozers motor graders excavators skid steers and compactors
• Perform rough and fine grading for building pads roadways and site development
• Read and interpret blueprints grade stakes and site plans
• Establish and maintain proper elevations and slopes
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance
• Work closely with foreman surveyors and crew members
• Maintain safe job site operations and follow OSHA guidelines
• Assist with other site work as needed
