Job summary

Blue Sage Services is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operator II to operate primary earthmoving equipment on diverse projects. The role involves independent operation, meeting production goals, and supporting efficient project execution.

Operators work with scraper pans, compaction gear, and advance toward finish grading and crew leadership. Ideal candidates will mentor developing operators, follow cut-and-fill plans, and ensure safety and efficiency on remote job sites with potential

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Proven success as an Operator I or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GPS machine control preferred.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate rollers, water trucks, loaders, skid steers, scraper support equipment and comparable construction equipment.
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Complete basic grading, hauling, loading, and material handling operations.
• Follow assigned cut and fill plans under supervision.
• Assist with earthwork, utility installation and project production.
• Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel and jobsite conditions.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance concerns.
• Assist with labor duties to support project completion.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement through training and coaching.
• Perform daily maintenance services (greasing, fueling, fluid checks, filters).
