Responsibilities

Administers tests.
Confers with teachers and/or parents as required.
Implements instructional programs and lesson plans across reading, math, language, writing, etc.
Instructs students individually or in small groups.
Maintains classroom equipment and student records; inputting grades.
Monitors students in varied settings (classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, labs, field trips).
Participates in in-service workshops and training.
Performs clerical tasks (scheduling, copying, materials, grading).
Collects and delivers homework/assignments to students.
Responds to emergencies (injured student, fights).
Assists other staff as needed.
