As a grade checker, you will read plans, set grading stakes, and use GPS rovers to verify grade accuracy on busy sites, while coordinating with operators and managers to ensure safe, efficient progress.

Qualifications

• Reading plans, cut/fill maps, and stakes for large excavation projects.
• Setting accurate grading stakes and hubs.
• Using GPS technology such as rovers to check grade efficiently.
• Safely working around heavy equipment in production settings.
• Communicating with operators and managers.
• Living a drug-free life (must pass pre-employment drug screen).
