Job summary

LB3 Enterprises in Southern California seeks an exceptional grade checker to guide heavy earthmoving operations on our mass excavation projects. You will read plans, set grading stakes, and verify grade with GPS rovers to ensure precise earthwork finishes.

You’ll work closely with operators and project managers on-site, maintaining safety and quality while contributing to timely project delivery. Previous field experience in excavation is preferred; drug screening required.

Qualifications

You’re Good At

• Reading plans, cut / fill maps, and stakes for large excavation projects.
• Setting accurate grading stakes and hubs.
• Using the latest GPS technology such as rovers etc. to check grade efficiently.
• Safely working around heavy equipment in production settings.
• Communicating with others including operators and managers.
• Living a drug-free life (must pass pre-employment drug screen).
