Job summary

RPM xConstruction LLC, a Texas-based design and construction company, seeks a Grade Checker to ensure proper grading on projects and support heavy equipment operators. You will join a team completing turnkey infrastructure work across commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

Requirements include 1+ year construction experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to read safety instructions in English. You must be available 5am–6pm, Monday–Saturday, and able to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience within the construction industry.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays.
• Exposure to machines and chemicals with loud noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that construction projects are graded correctly, and that heavy equipment operators dig and fill to the correct depth.
• Perform basic lath and pin staking.
• Perform any other duties related to the job site
• Regular attendance required.
• Willing to travel and must be able to supply their own transportation.

Laborers work on construction projects, and excavations. They may operate a variety of equipment including earth tampers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment. They clean and prepare job sites, dig trenches, place shoring to support the sides of excavations, clean up rubble and debris.
