Job summary

RPM xConstruction, LLC is seeking a Grade Checker to join our Texas-based site team. You will assist with ensuring graded depths and site measurements meet project specs, supporting heavy equipment operators and survey tasks as needed.

The role requires 1+ year in construction, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to read instructions and safety information. You must be able to work 5am–6pm, six days a week, and travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic ability to read English and safety information.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work 5am–6pm, Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction projects are graded correctly and depth is accurate.
• Assist with surveying and staking as needed.
• Support heavy equipment operators and crews on site.
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety practices.
• Attend to routine duties and travel to project sites as required.

Laborers work on construction projects, and excavations. They may operate a variety of equipment including earth tampers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment. They clean and prepare job sites, dig trenches, place shoring to support the sides of excavations, clean up rubble and debris.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that construction projects are graded correctly, and that heavy equipment operators dig and fill to the correct depth .
• Perform basic lath and pin staking.
• Perform any other duties related to the job site
• Regular attendance required.
• Willing to travel and must be able to supply their own transportation.
