Job summary

Minnetonka Public School Service Center is seeking a Grade 7 Language Arts Long Term Sub Teacher for a 1.0 FTE assignment running from 10/7/26 to 2/12/27. A Minnesota 5-8 or 5-12 Communication Arts and Literature license is required.

Qualifications

• Develops lesson plans and adapts curriculum to student needs.
• Translates plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Maintains standards of pupil behavior for an effective classroom.
• Evaluates student growth and prepares progress reports.
• Identifies needs and develops IEP strategies and referrals.
• Communicates with parents via Schoology, newsletters, calls and emails.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with staff and supervisors in a fast-paced district setting.
• Plans and coordinates paraprofessionals and volunteers when needed.
• Responds to emergencies and follows district policies.
