Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

• Ability to quickly establish rapport with students and adapt to different classroom settings.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with school policies and procedures.
• Completed background check and clearance.

Responsabilités

• Classroom Management: Implement lesson plans and materials provided by the absent teacher; maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
• Instructional Delivery: Deliver lessons per the established curriculum and adapt to diverse learning styles.
• Student Engagement: Foster participation and a respectful learning atmosphere.
• Supervision: Monitor students during class and transitions, ensuring safety.
• Communication: Communicate with students, staff, and administrators; provide daily feedback.
• Follow Policies and Procedures: Adhere to school and district rules and emergency procedures.
• Professionalism: Demonstrate confidentiality and high ethical standards.
• Flexibility: Adapt to different grade levels and school environments as guided by the regular teacher.
• Classroom Materials: Use provided materials and leave the room organized for the returning teacher.
