Qualifications

• Must pass required clearances and training including mandated reporter training, a physical, and TB test.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with students and adapt to different classroom settings.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Completed background check and clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Deliver lessons per the established curriculum and adapt to different learning styles.
• Foster student engagement and participation in classroom activities.
• Supervise students during class time, transitions, and school activities.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators.
• Follow school and district policies; implement emergency procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Be flexible to different grade levels and subjects.
• Leave the classroom organized for the returning teacher.
