Job Title: Grade 4 Teacher - Long Term Substitute Location: Springbrook Elementary Class Title: Regular- Exempt - WTA Effective Date:10/14/2026 Salary Range:$150 - $175 per day Hours per week:/Full Time

General Statement: This position requires teaching and writing elementary school curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and implements problem based learning units.
• Possesses knowledge and skills in differentiating learning processes, content, and assessments.
• Motivates learners.
• Collaborates and participates in development of programs that support the learning needs of all students.
• Demonstrates commitment to establishing/maintaining frequent communication with parents/guardians.
• Interest in and knowledge of history, geography, civics and government.
• Ability to adapt to the various ages within an elementary school setting.
• Proficient in technological applications and presentation.
• Possesses the ability to establish community partnerships that will support student learning.
• Adheres to the requirements and standards of the Rhode Island Department of Education Educator Evaluation process.
• Performs related work as assigned.
