Job summary

Dudley-Charlton Regional School District Heritage School in Charlton, MA, seeks a Grade 3 Teacher - LTS to join our elementary team. Qualifications

• Ability to plan and deliver instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework.
• Provide a suitable learning environment, supervision and motivation for pupils.
• Strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness and creativity, plus professional ethics are required.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Plan effective lessons aligned with elementary level Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
• Motivate pupils and maintain an environment conducive to instruction.
• Supervise pupils to ensure health, safety and positive peers interaction.
• Collaborate with teaching colleagues to plan curriculum and participate in PLCs.
• Contribute to inventory, care and storage of instructional materials and equipment.
• Attend and participate in grade level and faculty meetings.
• Maintain communication with parents regarding pupil progress and interim reports.
• Prepare classes and assess student work outside regular hours.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and state recertification.
• Fulfills teaching role in line with The Principles of Effective Teaching.
