Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for elementary level.
• Motivate students and maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Supervise students to ensure health, safety and positive peer interactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and contribute to PLCs.
• Assist with inventory, care and maintenance of instructional materials and equipment.
• Attend and participate in grade-level and faculty meetings.
• Communicate with parents regarding pupil progress; prepare reports and conferences.
• Prepare classes and assess student work outside regular hours.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain state certification.
• Fulfill teaching duties in alignment with regulatory standards.
