Job summary

Hunger Mountain Co-op is seeking a Deli Packager for substitute coverage. The role focuses on prompt packaging and labeling of Grab & Go items, assisting customers, and supporting deli operations during rush periods.

Substitutes may work up to 40 hours weekly with occasional quarterly PTO accrual and eligibility for the employee discount. Preference given to candidates available for varied shifts and on-site work at the Co-op.

Responsibilities

• Package and label prepared foods following merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain an attractive Grab & Go display.
• Assist customers in finding items and take orders when needed.
• Report customer feedback to the Deli supervisor or manager.
• Keep Grab & Go cases stocked and fresh by date rotation.
• Follow safety procedures and department policies.
