Chequamegon Food Co-op is seeking a Prepared Foods Assistant to support deli, grab-and-go, hot case, bakery and coffee bar operations. You will follow recipes, help prep, portion and label items, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities include following food safety protocols, stocking and organizing displays, assisting with inventory, and attending staff meetings. Availability to work nights and weekends is required; experience in restaurant or deli is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Follow all food safety protocols.
• Open and close kitchen following set protocols.
• Wash dishes and keep a clean workspace.
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps and salads following set procedures.
• Prepare soups, salads, dressings, dips, hot and cold case items following recipes.
• Portion, weigh, label and package products following set procedures.
• Maintain sanitary, orderly prep and display areas meeting health standards.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of items; manage supplies.
• Clean up spills, take out trash, and maintain backstock and floors.
• Monitor temperatures and assist with quarterly inventory counts.
• Attend all-staff and department meetings; perform Manager on Duty shifts as assigned.
