Hunger Mountain Co-op seeks a versatile Cross Department Clerk for the Food Services Department. The role covers Cheese, Deli, and Kitchen support with a 32-hour weekly schedule, and benefits eligibility. You will perform duties across four positions as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include customer service at the deli, stocking, labeling, and maintaining display areas while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Weekend coverage is required.

Formación

• Experience serving the public.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Familiarity with natural foods.
• Willingness to work Saturdays to Tuesday schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Package and label prepared food following merchandising guidelines.
• Create attractive Grab and Go display and maintain it.
• Rotate items by date to maintain freshness and separate batches.
• Ensure labels and signs with ingredients and pricing are accurate.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.
• Serve customers at sandwich counter, deli, and espresso bar promptly and courteously.
• Adhere to recipes and portioning for orders.
• Fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Slice cheese and meat to order; stock deli and cheese cases.
• Maintain sanitation and health department compliance.
