Job summary

North Coast Co‑op is seeking a deli/bakery team member to provide an exceptional customer experience, greet customers, and assist with product selection in a fast-paced market environment. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

This role requires friendly, reliable service, ability to work varied shifts, and familiarity with handling hot and cold foods, beverages, and grab-and-go products.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in food service.
• Serv Safe or Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within first month.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional shopping experience and welcoming environment for members, customers, and co-workers.
• Greet and interact with customers and ensure prompt, helpful, attentive service per standards.
• Assist customers in locating products and exceed expectations where possible.
