Job summary

WMJ Services is seeking a Traveling Custodian/Janitor to serve commercial buildings around Greater Grand Rapids. The role requires traveling between sites, with a shift from 4:30pm to 1:00am, and no prior experience is necessary.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stocking, and sanitizing restrooms; trash disposal; floor care; dusting; window cleaning; and inventory management of supplies. A reliable vehicle and background check are required.

Qualifications

• No experience required to start, training provided.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to read and comprehend safety materials.

Job Skills / Requirements

Requirements of Traveling Custodian/Janitor:

• No Experience, No Problem!
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
• Reliable vehicle is a must!
• Must be able to pass a background check
