Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join the GPU Software team as a GPU/SOC system software engineer. You will develop and debug kernel drivers and embedded software for next-generation hardware, focusing on platform performance, power efficiency and robustness.

You should have a BS or MS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, 8+ years of software experience, and strong C/C++ skills, with kernel experience on Linux or Windows.

Qualifications

BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of relevant software development experience.
Strong problem-solving skills for large-scale systems.
Proficient C/C++ programming with initiative in coding projects.
Familiarity with computer system architecture, CPUs, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.
Strong OS fundamentals with Kernel experience on Linux or Windows.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and debug changes in the NVIDIA software stack for next-gen hardware, focusing on kernel-mode software.
Trace development from design through production for datacenter systems, desktops, notebooks, workstations and gaming hardware.
Engage in emulation, bringup and product hardening to support cutting-edge products.
Collaborate across global teams to communicate and solve complex system-level challenges.
