Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a creative and highly motivated engineer to join the SOC System Software team to design, develop, and validate boot and security software across Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong C programming skills, and expertise in PCIE/ACPI/ARM-RISC-V. You will collaborate with architecture, software, and hardware teams to advance next‑generation NVIDIA SoCs and silicon bring‑up processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of proven experience in relevant roles.
• Proficiency in bare-metal firmware development, particularly with PCIE, ACPI and ARM/RISC-V technologies.
• Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessors, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, DMA, etc).
• Expertise in C programming languages, coupled with outstanding debugging skills.
• Defensive security programming skills
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate SOC & GPU Boot and Security software across Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms.
• Participate actively in the new silicon lifecycle, spanning pre-silicon simulation/emulation to silicon power-on bring-up phases.
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues within the Boot stack, ensuring detailed operation.
• Collaborate closely with architecture, software, and hardware design teams to enhance the next generation of NVIDIA System-on-Chips.
