Job summary

Apple Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a GPU Silicon Prototype Engineer to run tests on emulation builds, debug issues, and support silicon bring-up.

You will develop transactors between software test benches and emulation hardware, capture waveforms, and build automation to speed up emulation workflows. Required are a Bachelor's in EE/CE/CS or related field and 3 years of relevant experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++, and scripting in Python/Ruby/Perl.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; 3 years of related experience.
• Experience writing synthesizable code in Verilog or SystemVerilog to implement hardware test bench features.
• Experience writing C/C++ code for software test bench features and execution infrastructure.
• Experience writing Python, Ruby, or Perl for automation in simulation/emulation environments.

Responsibilities

• Run tests on emulation builds and report status.
• Debug issues by capturing waveforms and writing triggers.
• Architect and implement transactors between software test benches and emulation hardware.
• Develop automation infrastructure to accelerate emulation model builds and regressions.
