Job summary

VDart Inc. is seeking a hardware diagnostics engineer to perform hands-on troubleshooting of servers, motherboards, PCBA, GPUs, and subsystems.

Candidates will reproduce failures, develop structured failure-isolation plans, and use schematics, block diagrams, power trees, BOMs, and board information to isolate issues. Preferred qualifications include GPU/AI server experience and PCB repair skills.

Qualifications

• GPU/AI server hardware experience is preferred.
• Datacenter hardware sustainment experience is preferred.
• PCBA manufacturing and component-level repair experience is preferred.
• SMT/BGA/rework and workmanship failure-analysis knowledge.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, SQL, Kusto, or similar tools.
• Experience developing or validating hardware diagnostics.
• Experience with supplier or repair-depot qualification.
• Familiarity with liquid-cooled and next-gen AI platforms such as GB200/GB300-class systems.
• Familiarity with quality methodologies (FMEA, SPC, GR&R/MSA, CTQ, PPAP, Cpk).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot server, motherboard, PCBA, GPU/accelerator, and subsystem issues.
• Reproduce hardware failures and develop structured failure-isolation plans.
• Use schematics, block diagrams, power trees, BOMs, component specifications, and board information to isolate failures.
• Perform component/subsystem-level fault isolation and determine disposition.
