Job summary

Zenlayer, the first massively distributed edge cloud provider, is seeking a proactive procurement and project specialist to manage GPU hardware procurement from requirements confirmation through closeout. You will liaise with Sales, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure accurate specifications, timelines, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• At least two years of IT hardware, servers, data centers, cloud infrastructure, or related industry experience.
• Experience requesting and comparing quotations and negotiating commercial terms.
• Ability to develop and maintain project plans, manage multiple purchase orders, coordinate across teams.
• English and Chinese proficiency for supplier negotiations and communications.
• Basic IT hardware knowledge and willingness to learn GPUs and related equipment.
• Initiative, diligence and accountability with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Confirm hardware requirements, quantities, delivery dates, and procurement budgets; develop project plans and track milestones.
• Identify and maintain relationships with GPU hardware suppliers; request/compare quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times, terms.
• Coordinate internal approvals, contracts, and purchase orders; follow up on delivery, payments, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with Technical, Logistics and Operations teams on delivery acceptance and issue resolution.
• Maintain records of costs, lead times, and supplier performance to support process improvements.
