Job summary

Andromeda Cluster, Inc. is seeking a Compute Procurement Lead to source GPU capacity globally, spanning neoclouds, hyperscalers, data centers, and OEMs. You will own end-to-end sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation for multi-billion dollar compute spend.

You will travel to sites to assess readiness, develop market theses, and guide pricing decisions. This is a senior, hands-on role in a lean, high-trust team with broad influence on platform capacity.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of GPUs, racks, interconnects, power and cooling.
• Experience sourcing scarce capacity and negotiating deals.
• Ability to form independent views on pricing and market direction.

Responsibilities

• Global Capacity Sourcing: secure GPU capacity worldwide across neoclouds, hyperscalers, colocation operators, data centers, OEMs and integrators.
• Supplier & Ecosystem Relationships: manage allocation conversations and roadmap access with key suppliers.
• Technical Evaluation: assess capacity from GPU to data center including hardware generation and configuration.
• Cost Negotiation: negotiate pricing, capacity commitments, deposits, and SLAs.
• Site Evaluation & Travel: visit sites to verify readiness and collect on-site data.
• Market Pricing: track GPU pricing by generation and region to guide sourcing decisions.
• Compute Market Thesis: build a defendable view on future compute market trends to inform sourcing.
